Who are you?
We are a group of women from all horizons, and who just started their lives “as women”. At this stage of life, we came up with the same question: what is it to be a woman in the 21st century?
None of us could answer in a simple way to this question. Digging a bit, we realized that these nine words actually covered a multitude of questions to which every woman in the world might have different answers, because of their utterly different experiences of life as a woman. We decided to build this project:
to merely ask to the women of the world their story of how they became a woman (if there is one).
Our objective: 100 interviews at least
Where: as many places as possible
Who: just any person of female biological sex who identifies herself as a woman
